West Virginia University Athletics said its No. 16 women’s soccer team hosted No. 20 BYU at Dick Dlesk Soccer Stadium in Morgantown on Thursday, Oct. 8, for the Mountaineers’ annual Pink Match. WVU won, 2-0, according to the results listed on the athletics page.
The 7 p.m. match was presented by the WVU Medicine Cancer Institute. Athletics said fans were encouraged to wear pink, with bracelet-making, an “I Fight For” bulletin board and a pink pom pom giveaway planned at a concourse marketing table. The Mountaineers also planned to present a check to the institute before the match, according to the announcement.
The announcement said advance single-game tickets cost $12 online through WVUGAME.com or by calling 1-800-WVU GAME. Any remaining tickets at the stadium window on match day were listed at $12 for adults and $8 for youth and seniors.
WVU Athletics also said that, new for the 2026 season, student tickets for WVU Olympic sports would be delivered by mobile ticketing.
