A Huntington Bank office is now open in the Mountainlair at West Virginia University, according to a WVU announcement published Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2026. The office is staffed by Huntington employees who can help campus community members open accounts, answer questions and receive financial education, the university said.

The Mountainlair office is not intended for traditional banking transactions, WVU said. Instead, Huntington employees will use it to build a connection with the university community as WVU’s campus banking partner.

For banking transactions, the announcement directs customers to Huntington’s nearby Morgantown Main branch on High Street or its Suncrest branch. It also says five Huntington ATMs are located across the Morgantown campus and another is at Potomac State College.

WVU said the partnership, announced earlier in 2026, is intended to provide easier access to money on and off campus. The announcement includes an option to learn more about the partnership and open an account.
